Established in 1987, Exensor is a Swedish-based, world-leading supplier of Unattended Ground Sensor (UGS) systems. Through years of development and interaction with experienced military personnel, Exensor designed the Flexnet capability.

The Flexnet Unattended Ground Sensor (UGS) system is composed of passive, wireless, battery-powered sensors and cameras that can be rapidly deployed in the field for detection, classification and identification of threats and targets. Designed for the protection of soldiers and the surveillance of critical areas, this scalable system offers seismic, acoustic and infrared capabilities. Through fusion of covertly deployed sensors and cameras, people and vehicles can be detected, classified and identified without exposing either the personnel or the system.

Initially developed for force protection, the Flexnet UGS system can also be used for a wide variety of military and civilian applications, among which:

  • Force protection
  • Critical asset protection
  • Counter-mobility operations
  • Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR)
